Living in New Orleans..."The Big Easy"

The Louisiana Superdome

Tourist Attractions

New Orleans, Louisiana is a tourists dream city. We have a wide range of activities and attractions to suit everyone. The Aquarium of the America's, Audubon Zoo, City Park, and the Louisiana Children's Museum are just a few of the wonderful places to visit with children. If planning to partake of the Mardi Gras experience, I recommend staying in Metairie with the children, especially for night parades.

The city takes on a different atmosphere as the sun goes down. Casino's, bars, and restaurants are open 24 hours a day, but at night the lights change the appearance of New Orleans. Pat O'Briens Hurricanes and the night life of the quarter are interesting activities to view while in New Orleans. Please take proper precautions...such as leaving purses and jewelry at home or safely locked in your hotel. Stay in well lighted areas and don't roam out of public sight. You can witness all of the glory and glamour of New Orleans without risking your safety if you use common sense.

Downhome Flavors

Places frequented by the locals include the many restaurants ranging from fine dining to fast food. Our cuisine is of particular interest to both tourists and locals. Nothing tastes the same after you've experienced our dining pleasures. Hot and spicy, deep fried, seafood of every variety is a specialty of almost every New Orleans restaurant.....not to mention the pastas, sauces, po-boy sandwiches, muffalattos, and deserts.
