Updated October 9, 2002
Here's a list of a few things that I'm looking for:
Sat. Stuff:
Manual for Video Plus VP-1000 analog C/Ku band receiver. I could use 2 more of the receivers.
Manual for DX Antenna Companny DSA-656 Analog Receiver. Ku band only I believe. I could use two more of these receivers also.
Manual for PrimeStar antennas. Namely the 3 foot or so "round", and the 2x3 foot "oval".
Wall type mounting brackets for the two above mentioned antennas.
LNB's and covers for the two above mentioned Primestar antennas. Also any technical documentation on the LNB's.
Tubes I'm Looking For:
One more 1659 RCA tube with or without Boonton label. These can also be numbered as a Boonton 105-A or 535-A. NOS preferrd but good used should be acceptable if the triode section is hot and the diode sections are real close. These are for my old Boonton 260A Q-meter.
I can also use two or three 8068 tubes. I haven't had very good luck with GE made ones, they tend to go gassy as hell in storage. I'd prefer Tung-Sol built ones but will take what I can get. I have two Kepco 0-1000 volt power supplies slaved together that I use on occasion.. Each of them uses eight of the damn things. ;-(
Tektronix CRT for 547 scope (prefer NOS, but will consider good used one without double peak or burns) The Tektronix numbers for the one I'm looking for are 154-0568-00 aka T5471-32-1.
Boxed NOS Tektronix CRT for 7613 Storage Scope.
One or two of 1970-0025 (HP part number) nixie tubes by National Electronics of Geneva, IL. for a Hewlett Packard 5321B counter of 1969 vintage.
Manuals/Books I'm Looking For:
Acheson, M. A., and McElwee, E. M., Concerning the Reliability of Electron Tubes, Proc. IRE,
vol. 40, no. 10, pp. 1204-1206, October 1952.
AM-3007(*) series amplifiers: (0967-878-6010, Technical Manual for AM-3007/URT & CU-937/UR)
AN/USM-223 Multimeter.. I'm looking for any Changes for TM 11-6625-654-14 dated Sept. 1974 and any MWO's if they exist. These are for the ME-297/U FET multimeter. One that I have has a B suffix after the SN and a yellow pin jack labeled "D" on the front panel. I suspect that this might have been a diode testing mod. I have a later one with a "C" suffix that doesn't have the mod. Anyone know the details?
B&K 501A Semi-conductor curve tracer service manual with parts list, etc. I already have a copy of the operators manual. I will trade a copy of the OP manual for a copy of the service manual.
B&K 520B Transistor Tester operators/service manual with calibration instructions.
Eaton ( Ailtech ) 380K11 Synthesized Signal Generator mainframe with a SN in the range of 1200. In addition to normal commercial use, the 380KII was also a component (part number 470AS83-200-001 ) in the Harris supplied USM-470(V)2 VAST or Mini-VAST automated test system for the F-18 fighter. This system is still current so someone somewhere has a manual on the 380K11.
Eico 950A Ristance / Capacitance Bridge. I'd prefer the assembly manual. This is different than the 950B or the basic 950. It uses a neon lamp for the leakage indicator of electrolytic capacitors.
Electron Tube Life Factors, by the Electronic Components Research Department, US Army Signal Research and Development Laboratory.
It was published in 1959.
EM 0068 or EM-0068 or EM0068 CD disc. It doesn't have to be a current one. I want one of these sombitches bad and no questions asked. A clone is fine. Mail to: Nolan E. Lee, P.O.Box 860, Sun, Louisiana 70463-0860. Thanks!
Energy Concepts Inc.out of Chicago. I have several of their high school / trade school level instruments that I'd like to get up and running. If you have any service manuals on any of their stuff, drop me a note.
Heath Education Systems 20 MHz dual trace scope. It looks very similar to a B&K but isn't. It's a model 4221 and is of 1980's vintage and was built in Japan. I'd like to find a service manual for it. It works OK, but needs calibration.
HP 350D 600 ohm audio attenuator manual that covers SN prefix of 220.
HP 5345A Counter. I'd like to find a manual for one with a SN prefix of 1744 or a little higher. A set of card extenders would be nice too.....
HP 3456A Voltmeter. I'm looking for the operators/serice manual for insturments with the 2512A serial number prefix. I wouldn't mind a power supply circuit board either. This one had a shorted cap that took a couple of rectifiers with it after burning the hell out of the board. I've repaired it but it's one ugly SOB.
Hewlett Packard 5321B counter. I have the original manual (02494-2) printed December of 1969 and a yellow "change" sheet dated August 11th of 1970. I'm looking for later dated change sheets and supplements.
HP 5379A Time Interval Plug-In with a SN of 1136A00651. I'd like to find a manual for this plug in. It was used in the HP 5360A Computing Counter.

Radio/BA Hardware That I'm looking for:
Ballantine oscilloscope probe replacement tips. These are for the old tan colored Ballantine 1060xC 311 and similar probes made up until about ten years ago or so. A number of other brand probes also use the same or a similar tip. They have a black plastic semi-cone shaped body and a nickeled copper conductor threaded 80 threads per inch. One is pictured below:

I just used my last spare and Ballantine no longer supplies them. I can fabricate new ones but it's probably more trouble than it's worth. At any rate, I can use a dozen or so. I'm hard on probes. <grin>
Boonton Radio Corporation Type 260A Q-Meter in the 1900 SN range. I'm looking for two of the knurled thumb screws for the inductor and capacitor test terminals on the top panel. Two of mine are missing. A picture of the two that I do have appear below:

I also need the access plate on the rear panel. Again, mine is missing. I'd also like to cound out my collection of 103A "work" inductors. I have duplicates of a few to swap. I'd also like to find a complete list of the 103-A inductors. I understand that there were 17 of them.
GPIB: I'd like to find an NI card to play with that will run under NT 4.0. I'm not looking to spend much so if you've got an old 8 or 16 bit card that your not using since you upgraded to something a bit more modern, and you want to sell it for next to nothing, give me a holler.
HP 5321B counter parts hulk.
HP 5360A Computing Counter parts hulk and card extenders.
HEWLETT PACKARD 10536A PLUG-IN ADAPTOR for the HP 5360A counter.
I-177B / MX949A/U Tube Tester Combo:
I'm looking for several of the 7 pin miniature tube sockets that mount using a pushon spring steel clip and don't use any additional mounting holes in the panel.
R-1051 Series Receiver:
Looking for dead (and working) modules at give away prices for use as spares and for experimental purposes (insert Dr. Frankenstein laugh here....)
RBB-2 / RBC-2:
I'm looking for two of the little metal dial glass retainers, one of the red fuse holder "caps" for the power supply, a voltmeter, a couple of knobs, and a few other little dodads.
RBL-5:
I need the little bezel that goes around the headphone jack that says "Phones", and the Antenna Jack that attaches to the rear panel of the case. Oh, in addition, I need the two "nuts" that are held inside the rear panel with a screw that the screws from the shock mount thread into. I have extra NOS filter capacitors to trade.
I'm also looking for a meter for a Sprague TO-6 Capacitor Tester. I'd also like to hear from any one that has substituted a different meter into the beast.
Systron Donner 6152A parts hulk. (cheap). I'm also looking for any cards from 1970's vintage Systron Donner 500MHz range counters that contain a small black module about an inch in a half square that's marked CA-1003. A schematic and/or parts list for the CA-1003 woiuld be REAL nice. I've got two of them that are "blown".
Tektronix P6451 Logic Probes. I'm looking for two of the probes and a probe manual. The plugin is common as dirt. What the hell happened to all of the probes?
TV-7D Tube Tester:
I'm looking for a meter, I'd prefer a meter from a B or D model or one of the replacement meters labeled as TV-7E. Phaostron is the prefered meter movement for me. Looking for the Hickok 7 pin Nuvistor adapter. I already have the 1050-127 5 pin Nuvistor adapter. Also looking for two of the Hickok 1704 adapter sets and a copy of the manual for them.

Testset, Electronic Circuit Plugin TS-2135/WRC-1 and manual NavSea 0967-LP-004-5000
Vibrator Tester:
I'm looking for a vibrator tester. Yeah, right...don't be a smart ass! I guess that a HeathKit one would be OK. The key thing here is cost. It's for one of my low dollar "knowledge of the ancients" research projects. One made by Radiart, Mallory, CDE, ART, etc would be fine too. Documentation would be nice.
ZM-11/U RC bridge:
Looking for an un-dented cover and a parts set hulk. I need to replace some of the precision resistors and the function switch on mine. After a decade of faithful service, it puked. Talk about a pain in the ass to change....
If you have anything you think I might be interested in, drop me a line.
Thanks in Advance!!
