Bid management
is a cooperative arrangement with the client’s purchasing office to ensure
that all organizational, local, State and (if applicable) Federal guidelines for
system acquisition are met for a competitive public bid. SDS will draft the bid advertisement and
compile a bidder invitation list to assure the broadest possible
participation in the competitive bid process. SDS will chair the pre-bid meeting and will provide all the
technical responses to questions from the bidding vendors. SDS will also chair the bid opening (if a
public opening is required) and ensure that all requirements for the
competitive bid process are met. Bid Evaluations will include an objective comparison of
all bidder submittals to assess how closely each bidder meets the require
system specification. Bid results for
system cost and features will be tabulated and a recommendation made for the
most responsive bidder. A report will
be furnished to the client indicating which vendor should be selected and the
justification for choosing that vendor. |
