Dress Code Policy

 

The following is the official dress code:

Jefferson Parish Dress Code

Students can not wear the following: 

*Hats or caps, at any time (Do not bring these on campus)
*See-through or fish-net clothing
*Nose Rings 
*Shorts except while in P.E.
*Sunglasses, indoors
*Sleeveless clothing
*Holes in your clothing
*Cut-off garments 
*Excessively short shirts
*Excessively tight outer clothing
*Mini-skirts or micro-skirts
*Hair-rollers
*Sweat pants or warm-up suits
*Starter jackets, shirts, or look-alikes
*Unpatriotic words or pictures on clothing
*Clothing depicting any type of off-campus fraternity, sorority, or other club or group designs or insignia  not approved by the school
*Clothing depicting any type of alcohol, drug, or cigarette, related items, or symbols.

John Q. Adams Dress Code S

Students must wear the following:

*Shirts Gray Pique Knit Golf shirts with Adams logo. Shirts must be tucked in the pants with belt visible.
*Pants Fitted khaki uniform pants for boys and girls. Cargo pants are not allowed. Pants must be worn at waist level. "Low-riding" pants are not allowed. Girls may wear khaki skirts, measuring no more than two inches above the knee cap, or khaki skorts that reach their fingertips.
*Belts Solid khaki web belts (marine/boy scouts style). Students are required to wear the khaki belt if the pants have belt loops.
*Shoes Solid  black, brown, or white shoes. They may be dress, casual, or tennis. Laces must be the same color as the shoes. These may be purchased at any store.
